Please be informed that EURid, the .eu domain name registry, has amended its General Terms and Conditions. The amendment is made for the following reasons:
- To comply with the new legal framework for .eu domain names (Regulation (EU) 2019/517 on the implementation and functioning of the .eu Top Level Domain);
- to make the new General Terms and Conditions even clearer and more accessible by merging the existing General Terms and Conditions for Domain Name Registrations and the Domain Name Registration Guidelines into one document. In doing so, procedural and technical information has also been removed from the General Terms and Conditions and published separately on our website https://eurid.eu.
The new General Terms and Conditions are available on the EURid website (https://eurid.eu/en/other-infomation/document-repository/) and we encourage you to read them in their entirety.The amended General Terms and Conditions will enter into force on 13 October 2022 and by keeping and renewing your domain name(s) you confirm that you have read and accepted the amended General Terms and Conditions.
If you have any questions regarding the amended General Terms and Conditions or your domain name(s), please contact EURid via https://eurid.eu.
