Central .HU Domain Registration System

We would like to inform our Clients, that the transition of the central .HU domain registration system has been completed, and they can submit their orders and modification requests without any disruption.

Central .HU Domain Registration System

In our previous notice, we informed our Clients that the .HU domain registration system will be renewed on 20 March 2025.

According to the central domain Registry, the transition to the new system will take up to 48 hours. However, existing .hu domain names will remain functional during this period.

During the transition period, Registrars will not be able to perform domain-related operations. The following services will be unavailable:
- new domain registration,
- renewal,
- transfer,
- trade,
- data updates,
- nameserver modifications.

We kindly remind our Clients that if they have a domain name that has expired or is about to expire, it will not be possible to renew it during the above-mentioned period. Therefore, please ensure that renewals are completed as soon as possible.

Central .HU Domain Registration System

We inform our clients that the .HU domain registration system will be renewed on 20 March 2025.

During the transition period, the central domain registry has assured that the namespace (i.e., the technical operation of domain names) will remain accessible. However, Hungarian .HU registrars will not be able to perform operations on .HU domain names.
